Client: Staples

Challenge: Utilize their sponsorship of Dwyane Wade to drive back-to-school sales in all South Florida Staples locations, while simultaneously raising money for the Wade's World Foundation, whose core focus is the improvement of young people's lives through education, health and social skills development.

Solution: An in-store gift with purchase promotion featuring a limited edition Dwyane Wade poster that was made from an original watercolor rendering by famed sports artist James Fiorentino. The promotion was supported by FSI's in the Miami Herald and tagged in local radio spots.

  • Jigsaw Media hired Fiorentino - whose artwork has been featured in Upper Deck and Topps card collections, museums, galleries and private collections - to custom paint the Wade portrait that was used for the poster. 25,000 units were produced, which included a four-page housing unit that held the poster, editorial on the program, coupons and a Staples brand advertisement.|

  • Six high-end digital reproductions of the artwork were made and autographed by Dwyane Wade and Fiorentino, then auctioned off online with all proceeds being donated to the Wade's World Foundation.

  • Original painting was autographed by Fiorentino and presented to D. Wade.

  • Program provided both a creative activation of the sponsorship investment Staples had with Dwyane, while also generating positive PR throughout an important market.





Client: FujiFilm

Challenge: To increase sales of FujiFilm 4-packs & QuickSnap single use cameras at Target Stores, while simultaneously activating their sponsorship of Chip Ganassi Racing.

Solution: A 16-page FujiFilm sponsored fan magazine that was folded and shrink-wrapped to the aforementioned products for use in an end cap promotion at Target Stores nationwide.

  • Key positioning at Target Stores, along with "free with purchase" magazines drives consumption of FujiFilm products.

  • Magazine allows FujiFilm to promote their relationship with one of the best teams in motorsports. Content includes driver profiles, team history and action photo spreads.

  • Feature story on Team Target's longtime support of the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital raises awareness to a great charitable cause.
